Former heavyweight champ Andy Ruiz Jr. won a unanimous decision over hard hitting Cuban Luis “King Kong” Ortiz. Personally for me it was a “ho hum” with occasional flashes of excitement. Ruiz Jr. was able to score three knockdown. Two in the second and one in the seventh round. Ortiz was able to land his left. But Ruiz Jr. the craftier fighter managed ro counter punch and land the more telling blows. If Deontay Wilder gets past his fight next month on October 15th. Look for Wilder and Ruiz Jr. to exchange leather next year.
