In another Subway series matchup of David vs. Goliath, The Mets (David), won last night sweeping the series from Goliath, 3 – 2. The Mets Outfielder, Starling Marte plays the hero with a walk-off single in the 9th inning at Citi Field to win the game.

Max Scherzer’s return from IL was an exciting one since this was the first subway series of his career. The big matchup was Mad Max facing the Judge! Mad Max accepted the challenge and stuck him out not once but 3 times! Max went on to finish with 11 strikeouts to help the Mets in their sweep of the Yankees Wednesday night.

Side note, Mad Max was also encouraged to use a device that Major League Baseball has allowed called PitchCom. Here is Mad Max’s take on PitchCom: “Here’s what I’ll say about PitchCom: It works,” Scherzer said after leading the Mets to a 3-2 victory and a series sweep over the Yankees. “Does it help? Yeah. But I also think it should be illegal.”

Meanwhile, Lindor with 2 outs and 2 Strikes, knocks in an RBI single scoring Nimo and giving the Mets a 2-0 run lead
