Scoring Champ: Joel Embiid 33.1ppg. This is the first time also that three players averaged at least 32 points per game. Luka Doncic(32.4) and Damian Lillard(32.2) were two and three.
Embiid becomes the 19th player to win multiple scoring championships.
James Harden wins the assist title averaging 10.7 a game. Harden is the 13th player to win assist titles. Harden had the highest assist game this season with 21 against the LA Clippers on December 23rd.
Domantis Sabonis led the league in boards with 12.3 per game. This is Sabonis’s fourth consecutive season averaging at least 12 rebounds a game. The longest active streak in the NBA.
O.G Anunoby edges Jimmy Butler for steals per game with 1.91. Butler averaged 1.83.
Jackson Jr. has now won back to back shots block per game with 3.0.
Klay Thompson had the most 3 pointers made with 301.
Sacramento Kings led the NBA in average scoring with 120.7 per game. Denver Nuggets was the best team from the field with 50.4%.
Free throw Champs Philadelphia 76ers led the league with 83.5%. Philly also shot a league best 38.7% from 3 point range. The Golden State Warriors set a single season record with 1,363 3 pointers made.
Marking his 20th and final season with the Miami Heat. Udonis Haslem calls it a career. Checking in three minutes into the game, Udonis is the fifth oldest player to make an NBA game appearance. Udonis scored a memorable first quarter 13 points. He finished the game with 24 points, his highest scoring game since November 14th, 2008. He joins Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki as the only players to stay with one franchise for two decades. The Miami Heat will retire his number 40 jersey next season. Udonis Haslem retires as Miami’s all time leading rebounder and a three time champion.
