The Rundown

Blue and Orange skies for one more night! Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks force a Game 6 in Miami tomorrow night winning 112-103 at the Mecca last night. Brunson playing all 48 minutes, dropped 38 points, 9 boards, and 7 dimes. Brunson and Grimes played the entire game. The last Knick to play an entire playoff game was Stephon Marbury in 2004. Jimmy Butler paced the Heat with 19 points, 7 boards, 9 dimes, 4 cookies, and 2 blocks.

Shooting woes continue for Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole. But Splash Brother number 1 Steph Curry made sure Game 6 will be played beating the Los Angeles Lakers 121-106. Curry scored 27 with 8 dimes. Andrew Wiggins notched 25 points, 7 boards and 5 dimes while Draymond Green tallied 20 points, 10 boards, 4 dimes, and 2 cookies. Lebron James scored 25 with 9 boards. Anthony Davis finished with 23 points, 9 boards, and 3 dimes before being slowed by an inadvertent elbow to the head

Knicks v Celtics

No Jalen Brunson?? No problem. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen both playing?? Again. No problem. Knicks winning in double OT?? NO PROBLEM! The Knicks riding an 8 game win streak extends it to 9, beating the Celtics 131-129 in double OT. Immanuel Quickley starting in place for the injured Jalen Brunson, played 55 excellent minutes to en route to 38 career high points, 7boards, and eight dimes. All Boston starters scored in dub figures, with Tatum leading the way with 40.

No surprise here. And expertly called by WGISPORTS Media Ray & Ja. Kevin Durant will take his talents back out West to play for the Phoenix Suns. CP3, Devin Booker, and KD will make a formidable team.

Not to be outdone. The LA Lakers finally end the Westbrook/LA and send him, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Damian Jones to the Utah Jazz in a three way team trade that also involved the Minnesota Timberwolves and Utah Jazz. D’Angelo Russell will reunite with the Lakers, the Jazz are sending Mike Conley and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to Minnesota. Draft picks were also included in the various deals. The Jazz are expected to buy out Westbrook once the deal is complete. The LA Clippers arr rumored to be heavily interested in Russell Westbrook’s services. We shall wait and see

As expected. Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the New York Knicks 129-123 in overtime. Lebron also obtained his first triple double of the season with a 28point, 10 boards, and 11 dimes in the win. That makes him the first player to gain a triple dub in his 20th session. James also passed Steve Nash and Mark Jackson on the all time assist list. Lebron James logs in now at number 4 trailing only John Stockton, Jason Kidd, and Chris Paul.
